How to Operate Your Tesla Loaner? It’s Easy!

First time driving a Tesla? Don’t worry, we’ve got your back. Here’s a quick rundown so you feel like a pro from the moment you slide into the seat.

No Key! No Problem!

You’ll be using a Tesla key card that we will give you. Just tap the card near the door pillar to unlock the car. This applies for both the Model 3 and the Model Y.

Screen & Controls

Most functions like the AC, music, mirrors, steering adjust are on the center touchscreen.
Use the left steering wheel scrolls for volume and music navigation.
Press down the right steering scroll to activate basic autopilot while cruising down the highway. However, please pay attention to the road no matter what. Your safety is our utter most concern.

Regenerative Braking

Let off the accelerator to slow down. You will feel the car slow down the moment you lift your foot off the accelerator. No need to hit the brake. Don’t worry, you’re not just slowing down, you’re recharging the car. One-pedal driving becomes second nature in no time.

Charging Tips

Both Teslas come with enough range for daily use.

However, if you still need to charge your tesla:

Use the touchscreen to find the nearest Tesla Supercharger
Plug in and walk away. You’re not billed — we are.
